Ultimakers are supposed to print via USB, the SD card feature is a remnant from the past since some people prefer to do it this way. I print only via USB and never had any trouble. @BrandonH05 I do not know how the Anet a8 printer works, does it loads the print into a memory or only use the instructions from the computer or USB card? The saying goes, 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.' Does that apply to the old Anet A8 firmware? Should you 'mess' with the new firmware? We say yes, and for good reason.

Calibration

Bed Center Calibration

Sometimes the center of the bed is not the actual center. When printing large prints, the skirt, brim or the object itself is printed outside the heated bed. For bed center offset calibration please read: How to access screenshots on mac.
